We made a few minor changes to our fine motor shelf this week.
The pouring shelf is practically the same as it has been all month.
We just changed the color to green to coordinate with the color of Africa on the Montessori continent globe.
Most of the other trays include some sort of spice grown or used in Africa.
Tonging whole nutmeg
I have a variety of wooden spoons from Africa that are just perfect for our fine motor shelf
Spooning coriander seeds
Spooning agar crystals with a wooden giraffe spoon
Spooning aromatic roasted coffee beans
We also changed up the colors in our weaving and necklace making works
I offered a challenging pattern for them to follow this time: ABA CDC
