American Copperhead

The American Copperhead is a venomous snake native to North America, known for its distinctive coppery-brown color and hourglass-shaped markings. It prefers wooded areas and is often found basking in the sun.

Anaconda

The Anaconda, one of the largest snakes in the world, is primarily found in the swamps and rivers of South America. This powerful snake is known for its ability to constrict its prey, making it a formidable predator.

California King Snake

The California King Snake is a non-venomous species commonly found in the western United States. Known for its striking black-and-white or brown-and-white bands, it’s a popular pet due to its calm nature.

Emerald Tree Boa

With its vibrant green scales and white markings, the Emerald Tree Boa is easy to spot among the trees of the Amazon rainforest. It spends most of its life in trees and has heat-sensing pits to detect prey in the dark.

Green Python

The Green Python, or Green Tree Python, is a bright green snake from the rainforests of New Guinea and Australia. Its color helps it camouflage among the leaves, and it often curls up on branches, waiting for prey.

Hognose

Hognose snakes are small, non-venomous snakes known for their upturned snouts, which help them burrow. They’re famous for their dramatic defensive displays, often playing dead to avoid predators.

King Cobra

The King Cobra is the world’s longest venomous snake, reaching lengths of up to 18 feet. Found mainly in Southeast Asia, it is known for its impressive hood and potent venom, though it avoids humans when possible.

Rattlesnake

Rattlesnakes are easily recognized by the rattling sound they make with their tails as a warning. These venomous snakes are native to the Americas and can be found in deserts, grasslands, and forests.

Sidewinder

The Sidewinder is a unique rattlesnake found in the deserts of the southwestern United States. It moves in a distinctive sideways motion to navigate sandy terrain, leaving unique ā€œJā€-shaped tracks.

Western Hognose

The Western Hognose is a small, non-venomous snake native to North America. It’s known for its upturned snout and preference for sandy or rocky habitats, where it hunts frogs and small rodents.
