Non fiction book and cards to learn about St. Patrick’s Day. I like the way the information is presented in these sets from the Clever Classroom and Montessori Printshop.

This is a fun little game for two players. Read the poem together as a group a few times until the children learn it. Then they can go off and get it from the shelf independently. One child “reads” the poem while pointing to each word. (I drew the dots on). The other child closes his eyes while the reader hides two coins under the hats (you can use plastic cups or anything else). The other child has to guess where the coins are. It’s a very simple game, but super fun for this age group! (Source: adapted from Kathy Griffin on TpT but it seems it is no longer available)
