Winter Writing Ideas with W Words

Choose one word for a thing, one describing word, and one action where the list allows. Build a sentence around what a character sees, feels, or does. General words work best when another detail makes the winter setting clear.

Try it: Set a scene with warmth and warming. Add a sound, texture, or movement so the reader can picture the moment.
