October Hammering Nails in a Pumpkin Montessori

Pumpkin Hammering!  Inspired by My Montessori Journey (closed blog).  We use real roofing nails.  This is a very popular activity.  Who doesn’t like to hammer?  The density of the pumpkin is just right for little hands to get the nails in.  We also recommend cutting the pumpkin in half to prepare it for the children.
